I have my PS on textedit, saved as plain text on a mac. im cutting and pasting it, and after saving and viewing, there are lines with 2 or 3 word then it returns to next line, and the formatting is off. anyone had this problem? any help is much appreciated, im trying to submit by tonight, thanks!

I had a similar problem. I read somewhere that AADSAS will format the personal essay before sending it out so it looks like a real essay with indentations and correct spacing. I don't know where the direct quote is, but I'm sure someone else on here knows. Also, you can try and save it on notepad (PC program). Some say that helps too.

I had the same problem.
After you copy and paste, fix up your essay in the textbox provided, and once you think it looks alright, click the preview button to double-check
Good luck 🙂

i just retyped the essay in the text box, from scratch, and it still randomly returns to the next line seemingly sporadically. this is annoying me. lol. i literally typed it in just now and it still does this.....lamesauce =/

You should have done a search, we talked about this about a month - 6 weeks ago. Conclusion: use firefox. Safari was making it messed up for most of us mac users.

I emailed aadsas and I was told that the format would look like how it was originally on microsoft word.

seriously, just copy and paste from Word. I never had a problem doing it that way. It is a plain text box so it isn't going to carry over the special formatting except line breaks.
