CVS and Walgreens are just trying to help!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That's why you need pharmacists to speak at the corporate level.

"It's a toss of the dice," said the Florida Pharmacy Association's executive director Michael Jackson. "No one knows."

lol

Yes I remember what I said. 😆

It's true though. I don't know any pharmacists that closely follow the ratio.

I bet you will pay attention to it when the State Board inspector comes in and cites you for violating it. In Texas itvis a $1000 fine, 2 years probation and 20 hours of law CE.

When the board inspector comes in, the extra tech magically transforms into a clerk, cashier, shelf stocker, etc. NY ratio is only 2:1.

That's what happens here too. Our ratio is 2:1 and 3:1 if a CPhT is there. If they work as a clerk they don't count.

Wisconsin has a 4:1 ratio. The fifth or more tech goes onto the schedule as a cashier. Ratio laws are a joke.

Wayne who is the Inspector that handles most of the Dallas/Ft.Worth stores has been in my store at least 4 or 5 times in the last 4 years and has never paid any attention o the tech-pharmacist ratio- guess he could if he wanted, but to this day- I never heard of a Pharmacy getting fined for the ratio.

I know of a pharmacist in NYS that got fined. CVS paid for it.
