Does any body know that whether the pharmacy supervisor knows that you are applying an internal job? I mean could he/she find out on the system?

I know proabaly eventually he/she will know but just wondering if I should apply a job that is closer to home.

It really shouldnt matter. You are staying with the company. The only thing I know about CVS is that its terrible

It really depends on stores. The one I was previous at was a really a good one; there was actual time I had nothing to do... I got to have a job to pay off my loan

Yes, they will find out. When I worked as a staff RPh at CVS, I tried to relocate and switch out to Omnicare LTC (not realizing that it had been bought out by CVS). My pharmacy supervisor found out pretty quickly after I sent out my application and asked me about it.

CVS has its own school now?😉

The first thing you should do when applying for another position is to get your supervisor's blessing, even if it's for switching stores. Your new supervisor/manager/boss will ask is if your current supervisor knows. If you say no, some of them will be cool about it and tell you to get your current supervisor's blessing and pretend you never reached out to the new one.

I'm pretty sure it's the same on the retail side, but on the PBM side, the supervisor / manager / whoever finds out pretty quickly. The recruiter has to reach out and make sure you are eligible to promote/move out of where you are into a new position.
