Does anyone know how long someone is in the pharmacy system? Are employees automatically deleted if they leave? The reason I'm asking this is because I can't find anyone at my store who can cover a shift of mines, but a friend of mine used to work there last year, so I was gonna ask her to work for me.

Would they just let her use my numbers and I just pay her?

id just call whoever is directly above you and ask them if she can cover for you, they can decide whether to do it along official lines or under the table

Yeah, I haven't bought the plane tickets or anything yet, but I really wanna go to BlizzCon this year. Ozzy Osbourne is playing at the end. 😀

The answer to your question is NO. If they log in with your numbers and get caught, you will be fired. How far in advance is this? If it's far enough in advance, call around to other stores. If they are cutting hours, others will be looking to pick them up.

Why would you ever think about going around your pharm superviser to put a NON-employee in your shift??? That makes no sense at all. Legal issues, liability issues. No, no, and no. Just call your market scheduler and ask for some help. Do you know other pharmacists in the area, new grads, etc? You might actually have to do a little looking around...or work the shift if you're not willing to. Would someone else in the area be willing to work a deal? (i.e. you "owe" them a day of their choosing)
