Hey guys:

I know the offer letters states exactly 3 months from the time of graduation to get licensed and pass both the national and state law exam. I was wondering what the ramifications were if you fail and don't meet the 3 month deadline. Is your offer completely rescinded? Just the anxiety of the exam coming up has me pretty scared about that possibility.

depends on your dm. If you're a good employee, he/she will not get rid of you and will most likely let you work as "6th year" intern instead of grad intern. I think there is a limit on how many grad intern hours (ICH hours) you can have. Once you run out of that, you either have to be promoted to rph or be demoted to continue working

I know at least a few interns in my district who didn't pass the first (or second) time. One of them had to renew his intern license to keep working.
