What days do we get holiday pay? I heard there's some holidays we get 2x instead of 1.5 (like Christmas)... is that true?

Here's the list of 2017 holidays I came up with. I'm not sure if we get holiday pay on a lot of these and let me know if I'm missing any..

Jan 1 - New Years
Jan 16 - MLK
Feb 20 - President's day
Apr 16 - Easter Sunday
May 29 - Memorial Day
July 4 - Independence Day
Sept 4 - Labor Day
Oct 9 - Columbus Day
Nov 11 - Veterans Day
Nov 23 - Thanksgiving
Dec 24 - Christmas Eve
Dec 25 - Christmas
Dec 31 - New Years Eve

In PA the Holidays are:

  1. New Years Day
  2. Easter
  3. Memorial day
  4. July 4th
  5. Labor Day
  6. Veterans Day
  7. Thanksgiving
  8. Christmas Eve After 6PM and Christmas Day
The pay rate and the pay availability are dependent on the schedule. Veterans Day is just 8 hours added to your pay whether you work or not and whether you are scheduled or not. Christmas Eve after 6 and Christmas day are double time.

I'm pretty sure they got rid of Columbus Day around 2003 and made Easter a holiday instead. This helped payroll because stores aren't open as long on Sundays as they are on Mondays, AND Sundays are already time-and-a-half in some states.

Easter is a paid holiday? I thought most places were 6-NYD,MD,4th,LD,TH,CH. I'm impressed with that holiday list of yours.
