Anyone know how much CVS adds to HSA? Also, can I elect to just contribute up to the max out of my first paycheck, rather than spreading it out all year with a little bit each check?

It is a tiered system based on how much you make and if you are single or family plan. Base > 150k is 500 for family 250 for single, when you make less they contribute more, I would suspect the normal pharmacist would get 1000 family 500 single.

They spread out the contribution by paycheck on purpose so you don't get $500 on January 1 then quit the next day. Same with 401k match.

I set it to take out the yearly max over 26 installments each pay period. Pretty simple. They won't let you start interesting until you have $1000 in the account, so you might want to give it a "bolus dose" to get the ball rolling.
