I have an interview with CVS scheduled next week for

overnight pharmacist position. Can anyone share their

information/experience on interview with CVS?

I have a feeling that it's not going to be too formal but

I want to make sure that I'm ready for it.

And is there a minimum period of time that I have to work in CVS

before leaving the company?

Wondering how long you must work somewhere is probably not the best attitude to have going in for an interview.

I agree.

Another point... As far as I know, once you accept a job, you are not compelled to stay. Its not like we live under a dictatorship and all work for the gubment :scared:

Thank you guys for advice.

I did not mean that I will prepare interview with that kind of attitude

but I was just curious about it. 🙂

Anyways, anyone wants to share their experience on interview with CVS?

I'd appreciate some help.

OMG there is an opening!!!

All kidding aside, there is really no time frame that you "have" to work for them, unless you sign a contract which dictates the terms. However, if you leave in less than 6 months, it looks pretty bad on your resume. I'd say that you're okay to move after a year, but if you have a job lined up elsewhere that you like more than this, then move on by all means.

As for the interview, CVS and other chains like Walgreens will look for these things: customer service (not too important for overnights), ability to multitask, speed in verification/order review, understanding and meeting goals for KPIs, and ability to follow guidelines without too many questions. For night pharmacists, many of these do not apply at all times...but you are still expected to do them well. Be sure that you sound enthusiastic about performance goals and don't sound too opinionated.
