I've come across two pharmacist that have pending lawsuits with their former employer CVS. I wasn't able to get details of what happened in both cases...but does anyone else here had or heard of other people being of accused of doing something that resulted in them being terminated from their pharmacist position with CVS? In both cases the pharmacist involved said they didnt do whatever they were being accused of and followed up with a lawsuit against CVS. Thanks!

With that company the list is probably endless.

The employer accused the employee of taking a bathroom break

absolutely unacceptable of the employee to do so in my opinion, need diapers

^Well, essentially (and this is only what I've heard from my pharmacist at CVS) they like to "force" their older pharmacists into retirement. They do this so they can have an excuse to hire a cheap new grad...They will say their performance hasn't been up to par for the most part. Unless they can get legit. evidence of them doing something illegal (e.g. filling a prescription under the name of a clinic/nonhuman, etc.)

I have seen this time and time again with CVS. Once they get rid of the older pharm in a store they hire a new grad, pay them less and increase their tech help etc. Friend of mine just got fired for not hitting certain metric goals. One of the best pharms I have ever known. Very knowledgeable , respected by techs and customers alike. But, his one fatal flaw..... he was older. Shame.

well this doesn't seem like the case with the 2 people I know...they're in their 30s pursuing their lawsuits against cvs...

You can get fired for going pee at work? What if you have to do #2?
