CVS folks - Anyone know how to print shelf labels for prescription meds? We got a bunch of stuff without labels and trying to update ndc's. Thanks!
I've done it infrequently. I don't remember the exact procedure but it is pretty easy. Ask your front store manager to show you how one time and you can do it thereafter.CVS folks - Anyone know how to print shelf labels for prescription meds? You can do that (by pressing L during cycle counts), but it sounds like the OP's store needs more than a few labels. I'd just run the full set.You use that laser gun that you use to cycle count and they print off in the managers office.
That is even easier to do but you get a lot of extra labels for stuff you don't have. I prefer scanning only what's actually needed. I also think working in small batches helps make the project more managable. That...is...a good question. I have no idea. You should check with your pharmacy supervisor or the Helpdesk. Thanks for the replies. What if there is no manager's office? We're a target store. Also, how do you run the full set? That might be useful

If you want to check the computer to know which items are OV and warehouse item numbers of the rest, then no.our shelf labels have not been updated the past 5 years. i don't think we have a timetable as to when it will be next updated. is there a reason why it should?

Not when you know you are out of the drug because you're looking at an empty shelf.isn't it faster that way? beats walking around, and stare hard at the NDCs on the shelf?
