I feel the same way. I don’t know if it’s legal or how many people are really affected by the company’s grudge towards its former employees.
When you get desperate enough you’ll do anything...Why would you ever want to go back?
but i'm not a former employee. It just wont let me fill out the assessment. It keeps saying "there is no assessment for you to complete at this time". is it a technical glitch? been a year since I did that assessment last so it should automatically pop up for me another timeI feel the same way. Do you mean my former sup from where I was currently working before my store closed? If so, I did not officially leave the job yet. Instead my job is till in limbo until I find out if I can transfer to another store...which is why I am applying to CVS and some other pharmacies. Sucks to be me right now.Have you tried calling your former sup? If you left on good terms then he/she would probably like to have you back over a new hire.

Just to be clear, I am a pharmacist at a NON-CVS retail pharmacy. I am applying to work at a CVS.If your store closes, are you automatically placed as a floater for the district or nearby? How does this work?

But yeah...when a store closes, the company/hr first tries to find you another store in the district or surrounding districts. After that, HR will continue to work with you put to a certain point. If you are not licensed in any of the areas where transfer is possible, it gets hairy...really hairy, as I am finding out now.
I will keep you posted on how the whole process works as I continue to go through this nightmare of an experience.
I hear you...but when you have a mortgage sized loan debt, "A" job is better than "NO" job lol
