It’s been awhile since I notice this, when it hits around 5pm, 3 pages of new script (e scripts) would hit my QT. At first I thought all doctors office just like to sit on those prescriptions and wait til they close to sent all of them in. Until I was approached a customer demanding an antibiotic which was urgent. I had to call her doctor to obtain the med as verbal and the doctor told me he had sent the prescirption via. E script 3 times and we still didn’t receive it. I filled the med counsel the patient and went on with my life. Long and behold 3 hrs later I received 3 repeated antibiotics from that doc for that patient all at once. And this has happened in other occasions too, patient came and ask for prescriptions and it’s nowhere to be found. So what’s up with this delay, thought e script would be the most secure and fastest way to go..

There could be several issues. It could be the Doctor's office did not really send it. It could be SureScripts had a delay....

Pretty sure the doctor was telling the truth, bc when I received the scripts it’s 11:30pm. So it must be surescript. Like wvupharm2007 said, Cvs computer system is really something...

The problem is that you are using a computer while working for CVS and expecting it to go smoothly.

And the fact that it likes to go off line in the middle of the night.. I’m pretty sure the system is just trying to mess with us so we won’t meet goals and Cvs can cheat us out on bonuses

It's designed to take a massive dump on you right during rush hour to really test your resolve & ability to remain composed whilst this seemingly civilized business turns into a zoo (read with a sarcastic tone filled with some disdain for CVS IT)

(Now, Serious tone) Just do yourself a solid & delete all the duplicates rather than blindly having someone put them on hold only to schedule them to refill (antibiotics, corticosteroids, actues, etc.). You will save yourself lots of wheel spinning with RTS & because it's the right thing to do for duplicates (do not be lazy like some RPhs)
