I am a rising 3rd year pharmacy student and I worked for CVS for 2 and half years as a registered pharmacy technician. I was not able to get an intern position for CVS this summer and the intern coordinator told me to wait for the next 6 months to reapply again. I really just want to get the experience working in the pharmacy and there are CVS pharmacies that are hiring for CVS pharmacy technician positions. Would I be able to apply as a registered pharmacy technician for just the summer?
