I ordered my uniforms for CVS and picked them up today. I ordered medium top and it fit well, however the pants are absolutely huge. I could probably fit two of myself inside them even though it said the waist size for a large was like 34 or something (I wear a 32/33 waist in jeans). I do have some other scrubs that the pants were sized as small and fit me really well, so I am going to see about returning the pants before my start date. Have any of you guys had issues with your tech's uniforms not fitting? Does anyone know how the return process works for the uniforms?

Any advice that anyone gives you may or may not be different than in your district... Why not ask your pharmacist / hiring manager first - unless you feel like you're already bugging the mess out of them?? Which, IMO, is understandable because you're excited and ready to get this job started..

Uniforms can be returned once for sizing issues, and yes the pants generally run 1 size large. The return process is done on the same website as they are ordered from, but you will need to have your pharmacist do it from inside the store. Also, CVS prefers that only 1 large return and 1 re-order are made to save on shipping costs, excess orders/returns can have fees that are charged to the store. Thus I would suggest checking around to see if anyone else needs a return before having the pharmacist initiate it.

I think I will just order smalls this next time and if that doesn't work I'll just buy some from a uniform store that fits. I'm not even sure mediums would fit me, given how large the 'large' size was. I will try to contact my PIC and see about returning them before my start date. She's super nice so hopefully she will understand. Thank you both for your help!

My scrub pants were so big that they made me look like MC Hammer. I have had numerous people say that the sizes are off, it is like little kids trying on their parent's clothes. I actually went out and buy my own scrubs that are the same color. No one has noticed.

I could have easily fit two and a half closed fists in my waistline, probably. I would reason that even a medium would be too large. There must be some sort of error in the sizes. My manager was super cool about it, and said her female techs had size issues as well. I've got an exchange scheduled soon, so hopefully these next ones will fit.
