HI everyone,

I got an interview from CWRU but it is till end of April... How bad is that, would the classes get filled up??? Anybody is going to cancel their interview so I can take their spot???
DESIDENTIST , It seems you know a lot about the process, thanks for the comment last time... What does an alternate list means?? Why CWRU starts interviewing again march not earlier??

If anybody can repply, I will really appreciate your help

All that can be said for sure is that you will be interviewing for a small number of seats (perhaps only a couple) at that point in the game.

Contact Case and see if there is any way to move the interview date up. I am rejecting the acceptance offer I received from Case, as are many other people. That doesn't help you much, however, because there have been *many* applicants who have interviewed, and will interview, before April.

My honest opinion is that you are going to have a hard time getting a spot at Case, with an interview so late in the cycle. Stranger things have happened, however.

I think the best thing for you to do would be to call CWRU and ask if you are in fact interviewing for the alternate list, and also to let them know that if someone does cancel his/her interview if you can take that person's place.

I don't know when CWRU started their interview, but April does seem a bit late, so call to confirm your status.

As for the alternate list, it can mean two things, 1). the class is full and they don't have a seat for you, but they think you are good enough and so they place you on the alternate list in the event that if someone drops out, you will then be notified to take the place, or 2). they think you are a good applicant, but maybe not as good as the ones admitted, so they again placed on the alternate list in the event that if someone drops out, you will then be notified to take the place.

Actually am applying to CWRU, temple, UOP and tufts...
I got regection from temple and I haven't heard anything from tufts and uop yet!!!

Am waiting.....waiting... Actually I feel so down these days.. I don't know what to do!!
I will definitley contact CWRU on Monday and ask them what is going on!!

My GPA is 3.33
DAT : science 20, PAT 18

Hang in there sallyubc. Did you by any chance apply late? Your stats look very good, so I don't know why you haven't been contacted for an interview.

Sally, when did u apply?
The reason that case put people on alternate list is mostly bc they are late in the application cycle.
Keep on calling, and if you're lucky, someone will cancel right before u call. It's on first come first serve basis.

In regards to when Case started interviewing: I interviewed on the first day, which was August 26.

That means that sally is interviewing 8 months later -- there is simply no way that she could NOT be interviewing for an alternate position.

Hi Guys,

Actually, i did apply late, I applied early October but the problem I did the Canadian DAT so they didn't get the scores till mid december!!!

If my interview is on the alternate spot? does that mean I can't take somebody else's spot before March??

Thanks again, i won't give up i still have a hope but waiting is the worst thing!!

Actually I forgot to ask you a question. For people who got an interview at CWRU. who do you usually talk to? Is it David dalsky. Cuz It seems I can never find him.. the phone always rings and nobody is there!!!

How about the 1800 number that I got !! Does it even work cuz it doesn't work with me!!
