My question is on the explanation for Question 266 of EK Bio 1001, page 50.
If anyone can explain why ADP is replenished in the G-protein cycle, that would be greatly appreciated. Since ATP is converted to cAMP via ATP--> AMP + PPi, it seems that ADP would become depleted, since it is not regenerated by ATP hydrolysis. Does cAMP become ADP? That is the only explanation I can think of that would replenish ADP when cAMP gets produced, which would make choice B incorrect and choice C correct.
Thanks!
