Hi guys, sorry if this has already been addressed, but I haven't found a clear answer.

With the April 30th deadline, I have withdrawn from all schools except one, so I only hold one A. However, I am currently WL at a school that would be a top choice if granted admission. I already sent my LOI to this WL school, but do I have to select PTE for my one A now that it is the 30th? Does this send mixed messages to the school I WL at/hurt my chances?
TLDR: Do I just PTE for a school while I'm WL at my top choice?

You must PTE to the school that you have the acceptance to on AMCAS, please do that ASAP so you do not lose the seat at your current accepted school. It is listed under "Choose your medical school."

Please note that Plan to Enroll is NOT binding. You can, and should remain on waitlists. WL schools understand this and it should not influence their decision if you have already wrote an LOI.

**Commit to Enroll IS binding.** Once you commit to enroll, then WL schools would care/that would affect your chances there.

I am still waiting to hear financial aid package from one of 2 schools i’m accepted at. Without it i’m picking the school with their financial aid package already processed. do i have time to hold onto both As until the end of the week which is when they said they would have it ready by, or do i have to notify the other school of my Withdrawal preemptively (today).

You can only hold 1 A (after today), but you can stay on waitlists. Make sure you select plan to enroll for the 1 that you are keeping.

Just an editorial comment. The school that hasn't replied with FA information is doing a great disservice to you. Given the hard deadline for PTE, you need to make a decision based on the information you have currently, incomplete as it may be... If they lose you, it's their loss.
