If you applied to dental school but not offered an interview, do the committee put you in the D.5 program right away?

The D.5 program is offered to applicants who have interviewed at VCU. The admission committee selects applicants, based on that applicant's individual situation, that they believe will benefit from the 5 year program over the 4 year one. The program is small, with only around 10 spots I believe.

The director of admissions and the admissions committee select a very limited number of D.5 candidates from the pool of interviewed applicants.
