are do's members of AMSA? What organizations are d.o.'s part of as well?

are do's members of AMSA? What organizations are d.o.'s part of as well?

There is an AMSA chapter at every DO school in the nation. I founded an AMSA club at OSU-COM, which ensured that fact.

DO's can be part of every MD organization. In addition, just about all of the MD organized are paralled in the DO world.

Example:

An MD ER doc is a member of American College of Emergency Physicians.
A DO ER doc is a member of American College of Emergency Physicians & American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians.
