Maybe these things won't be as "shocking" to y'all as they were to me... First, I don't watch TV, so maybe there are more cases of this, but I was watching some show last night and the neurosurgeon they were highlighting was a D.O. (This one just because of the specialty.) Then today, I discovered the President of the Texas Medical Board was a D.O. 👍

On a serious note Cake Boss, My strange addiction, and Boston Med have had a few.

There is an episode on Cake Boss where a physician wants to make a cake for his fiancee. Both are physicians that graduated from UNE or NJ.

My strange addiction had a general surgeon who graduated from KCUMB. It's in the episode where the guy keeps eating glass.

Boston Med had a cardiologist at MGH who graduated from KCUMB.

The Texas Medical Board has had a DO as president for ten years - he actually succeeded another DO. It's not a big deal in Texas.
