Most programs say they start interviewing in September or October. When do they start giving out interview offers though? Do they give you a months notice or a weeks notice? Flights get very expensive quickly.

I am also interested in this. I have been told that most places will try and accommodate you when you are at their location. So if you do a rotation there, you can do the interview at the end of the month.

I have heard that too but the 3 places I am rotating at dont offer that option. One place has only 1 interview day in november.

No kidding? Like only one day in the month of Nov, or they do All their interviews for the season in one day?
What specialty?

ortho. they interview everyone the same day.
On ERAS, can you just "apply" to the programs right now while you filll out the rest of the application?
For example, I have 2 of 4 LORs loaded, picture, and scores, however have not officially submitted my personal statement nor certified my application. Can I just pick the 2 LORs, picture and score and apply to programs and then choose 2 more LORs and certify my application later? Since programs start interviewing in Sept/Oct, is it possible to get another letter from a rotation say in August...or will this be too late and should I just use one that is already uploaded now?
Also, is there a "transcript" section that the school releases on a later date or do we have to request this at our school....is there a place to check?
Last question....I have 2 LORs from 2 attendings at 1 program, and another LOR from a private group (non residency - that I worked exclusively with for many months during rotations during free time)...would it be better to submit the 2 from the same program or 1 from each (strength of LORs: private > attending 1 > attending 2)
