Hi there,

This is a brief question. I'm thinking of attending a graduate program at the same school that the Medical school I'd like to attend is within. Will I have a better chance in gaining admissions to the Med. School next door?


Extracurricular, Clinical experience, A research position- I have all of that and am still continuing, but my GPA is quite average, currently at a 3.51.

If the medical school faculty are actively teaching inthe MS program, then yes, you do have a much better chance, becasue they'll know you and can comment on your abilityt o handle the curriculum.

Your GPA is fine for DO and MD.
