Hi, I just started Nova this year and I am very excited. I changed careers from engineering and had to go back to school for a year. The application process was tedious and I knew no one else going through it. So I decided to come up with my own site to help future pre-dents.

I started a blog at www.blue-harmony.com. I describe what I'm learning now as a D1 and what I did to get into all 3 of my schools, including a copy of my AADSAS application, secondary essay, tips for shadowing, etc. I have some more pages to complete, hopefully all by the end of this month.

Good luck to everyone!

That's a really cool blog. Good luck!

Ping, very neat site. I am in a similar situation--currently in a successful career with a family and taking the plunge!

That's great! It's frightening, even now I question my sanity, but it just feels right. I am so happy and grateful everyday for being here. I hope the best for you and your family.

PS - I love Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!

Are you proficient in any activities requiring manual dexterity?

1. knitting - knit stitch, purl stitch, increase and decrease stitches, I-cords, knit in the round

2. oil pastels - blending of oil pastels to create shadows, new shades and textures

3. chop sticks

4. typing

Just thought that was funny 😀

Best of luck to you. I will be checking out your site to see how things go.

Great blog! And congratulations on starting NOVA - I almost went there and now with the prospect of the weather turning real cold up here I am wondering if I am better suited for beaches than snow. Oh well. Best of luck!
