maxillary first premolar has one on the mesial side.mandibular first molar has mesial & distal marginal grooves.

maxillary 1st premolar has the mesial marginal groove which separates facial cusp from lingual cusp and leads to mesial crown concavity.

mandibular 1st premolar has the mesial-lingual groove which separates mesial marginal ridge from lingual cusp.

mandibular 1st molar may have (+50%) mesial/distal marginal ridge grooves but im not sure how they relate to embrasures?

i guess the the distal groove on the buccal side of mandibular 1st molar may count as one, but im not sure.

and also there is a developmental groove in the distal side of the max firs molar,it needs careful during root planning.

Hi!

I guess the developmental grooves on the mesial of First premolars are considered morethan the Molars.
when molars are, then maxillary distal dev groove is cosidered!
