yeah its vasa recta
three factors actually govern the viscocity

hematocrit
tempareature
flow rate

only in vasa recta the flow rate is lower , hence more cell to cell adhesion and henceforth the blood is relatively more viscous here

#1 - Answer is B, i believe. You can feel this with your tongue pretty easily

ALso, for #4, are you sure its E and not B? i dont think the mesial marginal groov heads toward the Mesiobuccal line angle does it? Please correct if I'm wrong.

Thanks guys

7. Which of the following clinical manifestations is observed in an adult patient with an adenoma of the pituitary gland causing hypersecretion of Growth Hormone?
a. Hypotension
b. Hyperglycemia
c. Short stature
d. Decreased urine formation
e. Decreased basal metabolic rate

I gotta go with B on this one since Diabetes Mellitus is a clinical symptom of Acromegaly. So is Hypertension (so not A), large stature (not C), and definitely an increased metabolism (so not E).

Only one im not sure about is D

Any thoughts?

As you said yourself that Diabetes Mellitus is a clinical symptom of acromegaly.. DM is a clinical triad of polyuria, polydipsia and polyphagia ... so there will be increased urination.

ans B is correct.
