No, not Dumbledore's Army.. Just curious -- do other schools have extensive developmental anatomy courses? Ours is 3 credits, and would be fine if our course packet weren't such a cryptic mess... What book(s) are you guys using?

Can't really help you we have a syllabus, no textbook and some hand outs. They did highly recommend TW Sadler, Langerman's medical embryology 9th edition by Lippincott Williams and Wilkins. Comes with a CD apparently. I didn't get it so I don't know how useful it would be. Our final is today and then developmental will be done! If you have specific questions I can try to help PM me.

We just had our dev bio finals these past two days. It was also a huge mess, way too much work for 3 credits, and completely unnecessary. We even had a practical on the 10 mm pig, which I think it pretty ridiculous.

We have a 1 credit Embryology course in our first term at KSU.

Primarily using Sadler's and class notes. I bought the optional "Veterinary Embryology" text by McGeady, Quinn, FitzPatrick and Ryan, although most of my classmates didn't bother. And I realize, it's not really necessary at all. Could've saved some $$.

Some illustrations we refer to in notes are out of the Dyce anatomy book.

i thought you were russian for a second....

i borrowed the same Veterinary Embryology book that cookiebear used, and i thought it was pretty helpful as a reference, especially if notes are a cryptic mess. but no, we don't have an extensive dev bio course.
