Go out back, wait till it gets out of the pool and shoot it. That's what I do.

Edit: I don't shoot ducks, just other pain in the ass animals that come in the backyard.

You do know they fly straight out of the pool as soon as I open the door right?

Some people complain about taxes. You complain about ducks.

LOL.. I thought so.. I knew you were referring to that post I made about taxes..

No sense in complaining about taxes.. it's one of the 3 facts of life..

Death, Taxes, and drugs going generic.

Oh yeah? Chit..I'll go down to the local authenic Chinese food joint and eat me some Peking Duck. Who wins now??

no, just let them know that you have ducks in your pool... problem solved. Just be sure to hide your cats and dogs.

you and your duck hatred. You know your daughter loves them!!!

HCA can suck it! I lived in a HCA house as a kid, but they're CHS now.

I don't hate them... I hate the way they chit all over the place.

I too have seen the belly of the beast. You're right, it's a huge problem.

and HCA puts too much emphasis on staffing numbers based on an arbitrary number system based on daily census. Flex staffing they call it.
Which means when the census drops, employees get sent home or FT staff are forced to work 32 hour week and have to burn PTO. I wondered if salaried admin also had to take 32 hours of pay..but oh no, that never happens. That's when I realized it's not an organization that deserves my service. I firmly believe full time employees deserve to work 40 hours per week.

What good the dog will do if he/she's inside?
Did that dog look inside to you?
But if I had a dog, it would be inside.

No dog stays in all the time, at least not a dog of that size. Your ducks would tire of getting chased and go to your neighbors pool. You can look at that them in your neighbors yard and laugh while they clean up the droppings.....

Yogi was out all day on squirrel patrol all afternoon.

yogi is your dog?

See..I hate dem ducks because they poop.. And I would hate to have the dog chit all over the backyard also.. I like to run around the yard barefooted and I don't want to step on something soft yet smelly and brown.. know what I mean?

I clean up my dog poop every day. That's what responsible dog owners do.

You've got slav...I mean kids. Sounds like a good allowance-earning chore to me!

Yes, that's my boy..... He is now sleeping in my office. It's tough to chase squirrels all day. You can train them to poop in one section of the yard. To me it's worth the ag. They clearly take work. We walk every morning, rain or shine or snow. He is really a joy to have around. But then again, he is a really good dog. Others are not so lucky.... He just turned one last week.
