Ok so i have to decided b/w AZCOM and TUCOM-NV. I seriously cant sleep cuz i cant stop thinking about this. I like AZCOM better, but the only thing taht bothers me about the school is the bad press about their clinical rotation situation. I know it is getting better but i know it is still a little unstable and hospitals are not giving much to the school. I also like NV, i dont know what their current status on clinical rotations are but they seem to be ok. Anyways, any input would be awesome. I think i asked this a while bak, but its gettin down to the wire now so yea...THANKS ALLL!!!!!!

hope for a 3rd school ... i dont like either, maybe azcom.

Bet on AZCOM, better facilities, more matches in M.D residencies, high score on the COMPLEX😀

go for the one that is cheaper and has been around the longest ie. more established. I had the same problem choosing between TCOM, and Nova both really great schools but I weighted the above subjects highly and TCOM won out.

Wherever you go, you should realize that most of your 'real medical training' will come in years 3 & 4. Good luck with your decision, but make sure that you don't choose a school just b/c they are going to let you become a doctor...make sure you will be happy w/ the school itself & the quality of education they provide.

I had the same exact decision to make. I chose AZCOM for a number of reasons, but it still kept me up awake at night for sure!

The clinical rotations are all good to go, I've heard, and this definitely influenced my decision. TUCOM-NV has one class in rotations now, that's it; although I hear their rotations will also be good.

What else are you looking for, besides the rotation sites?

I missed out on my chance to chime in first with my standard rhetoric of "Allopathic over osteopathic, then cheaper, then better location". When in doubt, refer to the flowchart:

I think what you should remember is that you have a choice. Let that sink in and you be able to sleep a little better. I know I do. Congrats....😀

ohhhh I LOVED Touro-NV, if I didn't have to see where my gf matches for residency in March, I would say with 100% certainty that I will be going there. I didn't interview at AZCOM but how much better can it be? Besides, Las Vegas actually gets cool a few months out of the year, Phoenix? Well I dunno...😛

ok so the price difference b/w the schools is about 5-6K think taht is a significant diffference? enough to sway a decision?

definately AZCOM dude...definately AZCOM... i interviewed at Touro-NV... its ok, not bad, not great... its a warehouse that they "converted" to a med school... so it doesnt "feel" like a med school AT ALL... that kinda bummed me out.... not that i care about asthetic beauty..but come on.. a warehouse!!! AZCOM is wayy more established... no brainer if you ask me... AZCOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
