Damn you acceptance letter...

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
How am I suppose to motivate myself to study for finals this week after being accepted?

M.D. Class of 2015!
Fortunately for you, not studying doesn't have any negative consequences for once!

Don't you have to explain a C or a worse grade even if you have been accepted? Granted you can make up any BS excuse and they probably won't revoke acceptance, but still??? BTW, congratulations on your acceptance!

You don't have to study for them if you can pull a B or higher without it and if you will be happy with whatever your final GPA is (would it change your graduation status)- I got accepted to my top choice before fall finals and then had emergency surgery the week of fall finals- didn't really worry about it and didn't study for any of them when I made them up in Jan. My whole last spring I didn't study at all- my study partners were a year behind me in the application process and I feel bad now because I totally stopped being a motivator.

Congrats! But think about how hard it must be if you found out in Oct.

hopefully i will be in the same predicament this time next year:banana:

knock on wood

I'm currently a teacher, and when I got my acceptance in October, all I could see was June 10th (last day of school) 😉 I've had a beast of a time keeping myself motivated at work, but I want my kids to do well on the AP test, so I've used May 2nd as my ultimate goal. Almost there! :soexcited:
