When I start D-school in the Fall, I'll be new to the DFW area. My wife and I are considering living in Plano and commuting into Dallas via the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) system. Has anyone ever traveled extensively using DART. I entered some info. in on their web page and it calculated a 45 minute commute (w/ 1 transfer). I'm not sure what to expect, as far as a normal time/distance to travel. We don't want to live downtown near the school (for safety issues). Any comments or advice?
