Anybody heard more about this program? Seems like their could be problems in transition. Is it more competitive than either school's admissions? I am drawn to it because the combination btwn rural/urban medicine.

Anyone know where you get your degree from? Are there any other programs like this?

You get your degree from Brown. I know there is at least one person here on SDN pre-allo who is doing this. I believe I read somewhere that the program is ending soon.

This is actually the last year of the Brown/Dartmouth program. With Brown now accepting people outside of their own system, both colleges decided that it was time to part ways. I was told at the interview that, although there are less spots in the Brown/Dartmouth program than the Dartmouth program, there are less applicants, so your chances end up being about the same. I chose to apply for the Brown/Dartmouth...got waitlisted.
