Hey Everyone!!!

I am planning on applying this upcoming cycle to dental school. I just took a practice exam on TopScore and my results were:

Bio:
16
Chem:
17
Orgo:
18

Perceptual:
17
QR: 22
RC: 18

I know these are some really weak scores...I want to score above a 21 on the actual DAT....what are your recommendations for as to how to study for the next month. My bio is so weak because I took it a few years back so I pretty much forgot everything!

Over the next 2 weeks or so you should if you have it work through DAT destroyer, CDP to get more practice. Review the mistakes you made on Top score.

Depending on how much free time you have you probably want to brush up on your bio. Read to cliffs ap bio or schaums bio.

Take another top score test. If your scores are low you may want to consider delaying your test until you feel that you are confident at understanding the material.

That is the important part in my book. You want to feel prepared. Don't feel pressured by having to take the test by a certain date so you can have your application completed and submitted.

a High score + middle of the application line, is far better than low score and being @ the front.

How did you all budget your time...considering you are taking two huge classes and they don't end until the 17th....how many hours per day how many hours per section etc

I would suggest looking at people's breakdowns who studied for around the same time as you will.

I took my DAT after having a full course load. I studied maybe a few hours every night and then more on weekends. Just study when you have time.
