Hi everyone, so I took the DAT today and it was pretty hard I thought. Here are my scores...

Biology: 20
Gen Chem: 20
O Chem: 19
PAT:22
RC:20
QR:17 (so mad) Math was so hard.

My GPA is kinda low and I was wondering if I even have a chance in getting into a school. I will apply as soon as AADSAS opens. Please give me a honest feedback. My gpa is 2.96 and my science is probably lower. Im just curious if I even have a chance. Please help and let me know what my options are.

First of all, I don't think your QR will affect your chances of admission, since it seems to be the least important individual score. So, don't worry about it.
Personally, I think your other scores are are very decent! The question, however, is whether or not they're decent enough to compensate for your GPA.
You'd probably get in somewhere, if you choose your schools smartly. Visit Predents.com and see what was the average GPA of the students that have gotten accepted into different schools. This will give a good idea of what kinds of stats you need to have in order to get into a particular school. For example, UCSF and UCLA are looking for a 3.6 or higher GPA. So, if you apply to these schools with a 2.96 GPA you'd probably have a slim chance of getting accepted. Nevertheless, not all dental schools are looking for GPAs that high. So, try to apply to schools that match your DAT and GPA, and you should be able to get some interview!

Your scores are good, from what I've gathered your TS is 20 and your AA is 19, nice job on that killer PAT score. Just be sure to apply early and apply to the schools who have been known to interview people with less than a 3.0. Best of luck

Thanks for all you feedback guys. I am glad to be finally done with this exam. I used many things to study for each section. Definitely recommend Crack Dat Pat very helpful then kaplan book and for sure get destroy, achiever, topscore and you should be good. Just trying to keep it simple. Hey ADIZZLE87 what school do you go to that interview people with my gpa. Please let me know
