Hey gang. just finished the DAT. I took the kaplan class, and used DAT Achiever and Top Score. Kaplan class was a big waste of money. Achiever was excellent prep for the perceptual ability! Top Score was good with science questions and PAT.

My Scores:
PA 22 (96.9%)
QR 25 (98.5%)
RC 20 (65.6%)
BIO 21 (93.5%)
CHEM 23 (93.8%)
ORGO 22 (91.8%)
TS 22 (96.6%)
AA 22 (96.1%)

BIO: pretty hard and specific. I averaged around 19s and 20s with practice tests and thought i did ok. so i was very happy with a 21.
CHEM: rediculously easy. especially compared to practice tests. easiest section.
ORGO: average with top score and achiever.
PAT: Much Much easier than achiever. angles were hard, but everything else was a breeze.
RC: I got stuck on a few questions and the time twiddled away. also, dont "skip" questions during this section. it will kill you!!
QR: easier than expected. skip the ones that you dont know, so you get all the easy points.

Achiever: great for studying pat and sciences. much harder than real dat
top score: pat and everything is about on with the real thing.
kaplan: biggest waste of money. the course is horrible. but the book was good. get the blue book instead of taking the class.

no, i got 65% for RC. i know, weird. but anyways, my scores from previous test:

i took sections of top score and achiever instead of taking tests all at once. I wish i had taken them all at once, i was kinda lazy by only doing them section at a time.

Yep...it seems that RC is graded easier than any other section. On average a 50 percentile is a 19 on the RC section, which explains the 65th percentile for Maylanddds. Most schools, therefore want people to generally get above an 18 in this section from what I've heard.

I got screwed....

only a 20 on reading comp with 71.4% !!!!

Doesn't matter i guess b/c with a 15 on PAT i've got to retake.
I was toooo nervous the first couple hours of the test.
