DAT acheiver prac. scores

Im taking the dat in a week, so my stomach ulcers are multiplying exponentially.😱 I just finished the final DAT acheiver and I was wondering if anyone could give me any insights, if I need to reschedule to DAT later?

PS. I am quite frusterated with DAT acheiver. A lot the questions were worded very ambigiously and there were oodles of spelling errors. I also noticed that the tests were very inconsistant, on one test the ochem was way easy and the math was way hard; when on other tests it would be opposite. Im hoping that top score is a bit more representative of the real thing.

Achiever is much harder than the real test. Don't worry! My achiever AAs were fluctuating between 17-18 and I ended up with a 22 on the real test. They even mention this in the confirmation e-mail you receive after you purchase your liberation key. They say that their questions are more challenging and you shouldn't feel discouraged if you don't do as well as you expect.
How are your TopScore stats? Now if you're getting similar scores on TopScore tests, you should probably practice more. But if you're doing OK on TopScore, there's no reason to worry!

Haha man. I feel you. I took the first Acheiver and did really well. Then took the second one today and was completely overwhelmed on their chem section. Ended up with a 19 in bio, 15 chem (ouch) and a 18 orgo. Chem rocked me and my moral is a bit shot at the moment lol. Didn't even finish the test (I'll do the other parts tomorrow).

But like nze said, I'm hoping TopScore will be a better marker of my performance. And I do agree, Acheiver is definitely harder and has some very strangely worded questions. I still think its really good practice, especially for time. I felt really rushed today with the calculations I had to do in chem.

Haven't learned too much from Bio..but I did learn that ulcers aren't caused by stress 🙂 It's bacteria. Hang in there!! I have the DAT in a month and I just got a 15 in Bio..errr...

Actually, there's a specific type of ulcers known as STRESS ULCERS.
