I've been studying most of the summer and my exam is coming up at the end of August. I used chad's for chem and ochem and kbb for biology to refresh on the topics. I also just made it through destroyer in all sections my first time. Going through destroyer I struggled but was getting around 50% in all sections which seems close to what most people get their first time through. But I just did my first achiever exam and got an aa of 14. I know it is harder than the real thing but that is way lower than what I expected and seems lower than what most people get. Some of the questions seemed completely off the wall. Do you guys think its worth my time to keep doing achiever tests or is the destroyer more like the real thing? And what do you guys think is better top score or the achiever? Because I am thinking about buying top score.

Topscore is much better and more like the real thing....Achiever is just crushing and overkill worse than the destroyer. Someone like 2 months ago I remember saying they were getting 13's on Gen Chem on achiever and ended up getting a 23 I believe on the real thing. He mentioned every section jumped ip like 6-10 points. When I took achiever last year I was getting 14-15 TS range just like you and end up getting a 18 TS. People will usually tell you that there scores jumped up 4-5 points. I'm retaking the exam over because of RC and PAT mainly, but I'm using Achiever for PAT because many say it's a lot more representative of the real exam when it comes to keyholes and TFE. Good Luck. Staying confident is key believe me, I can tell you from first hand experience.

Thank you, the other sections are better for me. I know people say the reading comprehension is harder on the achiever but I did okay on that. I just think the science part of achievers questions have a lot of depth to them when compared to the time.

I felt achiever reading comp was very comparable
Science was ridiculous but very helpful
PAT: I got through the first one and wanted to give up on life
Math: a little bit harder than real thing

I take it on wednesday. Have done similar stuff as you but a little more, but yeah i have been working on the achiever stuff. Holy ****. I was doing well on DAT boot camp and datqvault, chads, and got the hang of destroyer. I moved onto achiever. Good god...

Everyone always says that Achiever is out of this world so I never even bothered with it. If it's not too much, could you post one or two of the bio questions so I can see what everyone is talking about?

I have been doing some achiever sections these past few weeks using it mainly to see progress within the software+focus on weaknesses. My first bio and gc tests were 15. I am scoring 17 now..I think bio is not too bad, but still requires a great deal of understanding of the material. It is a lot harder than qvault/bootcamp/ even destroyer in my opinion, but it's doable and I think it's great for getting random facts down that might not be covered in the review books..

In my opinion, GC, is WAY harder than what we will see on the test (and OC)..GC has very long calculations and it is nearly impossible to finish within a 30 min time limit. But then again- it makes you really dig deep into the subject and polish your understanding...I did one OC test and scored 15. Again, OC in Achiever makes you really think about what Chad covered and some things they ask are not covered by Chad..I will keep doing them but not sure how beneficial it will be for OC..
