I took the DAT achiever tests (the first tests) and I was wondering if someone who has taken the DAT achiever let me know how I should do on the real thing.

I normally get around 25 for perceptual ability with kaplan and barrons tests.

Achiever is much harder than the real test. They even mention this in the e-mail they send you, when you purchase the software. I got scores in the 18-19 range, while practicing with achiever, and I ended up with 22,22,20 on the real exam. So don't freak out if you're not doing as well as you want, when you take achiever tests.
However, when it comes to PAT, don't get all overconfident when you see you're scoring 25 on KAPLAN's PAT. KAPLAN's PAT is a joke compared to the real thing. a 25 on KAPLAN's PAT probably translates to a 20-21 on the real exam. So, I'd encourage you to look at some other resources for PAT in addition to what KAPLAN provides you with.

I think u'll be fine!! Work on your QR skill tho.. cuz i thought achiever's QR was wayyyy easier than the actual test. Check out my post.. i took my test on June 3. I listed all my scores from achievers and topscores 🙂! All your other sections look good.

Thanks for your posts. Actually. I havent done very impressive on any on my quantitative reasoning tests, I havent killed myself over it because I have heard from numerous people that it is the last score the school will look at.

Right..at the same time QR goes into your AA. Wouldn't you rather a 20 AA instead of an 18AA because you effed up your QR? I understand that QR is hard, so I'm not freaking out about an 18 or a 19..but I don't want to mess up my AA. Just keep that in mind. Best of luck!!
