DAT ACHIEVER??

Yall my exam is in about a week and my achiever scores are horrible. I made a 19 in Gen Chem a 17 in Ochem a 17 in bio a 18 in QR a 14 in Reading, and a 15 in PAT. Overall was a 16.

In CDP I was making 19 20s on the PAT im so worried now, is it really as hard as the DAT, what scores should I expect?

I am just curious, how many did you get correct on your PAT for achiever? I got 50/90 :s. I got destroyed in keyholes and TFE.

But generally I have heard achiever is way way harder than the actual DAT for all sections and that your actual scores will be increased from anywhere from 2-5~ points.

Don't worry. My scores increased so much like around 7 points higher. You'll probably get higher than 20's

Hey dude omg you know what helped me out a lot! Is for keyholes I youtubed DAT bootcamp Ari makes it so easy! Just watch his video and you'll get keyholes better. For TFE I was doing so bad like legit only get 20% and now I get about 70% not good but I'm happy with it I used this website it helps a lot to count lines!

I got literally 12 points higher on RC on the actual DAT compared to the Achiever.

Achiever's imo the best resource for the PAT. Much more representative for keyholes and TFE than anything else. I got a 22 on my last Achiever PAT test and ended up getting 5 higher on the actual.

Just took the DAT today. I am not going to sugar coat how I did using Achiever, I was constantly getting 16's for AA and got as low as a 14 once for Bio. It literally was ruining my confidence so I ended up only taking 5 of the 7 tests. I am happy to say on the actual DAT I got a 21 AA and a 22 on Bio. The questions on the DAT are definitely not as complicated, although the PAT seemed a little tougher. Reading was by far wayyyy easier!! QR was about the same, just have to be able to know how to solve them right away as it mostly is just a test against the clock. Just don't let your Achiever scores get you down! Best of luck!

How do you guys solve math fast? Mark the ones with words problems do all numbers first?

If you know how to solve it right away, then do that problem first(unless it is going to take longer than a minute to solve). For example, the questions on Trig functions always took me awhile because I never got the hang of simplifying them so I skipped all of those. The QR Destroyer book was exactly like the actual QR on my DAT. I had about 5 questions that involved trig and then one that was a word problem that I knew would take awhile to set up so I waited to do it last. I ran out of time with three questions to go so I had to guess. QR was actually my best section. It is all basic questions that can easily be answered, it's just a test of time management. If you don't know how to answer one right away, don't panic and just mark it and move on. Hope this helps!

AH those are amazing scores congrats! eh I'm worried about PAT I hate TFE. Thanks though you made me feel a lot better!

Yeah my PAT practice scores are not so hot 🙁 very sad considering my DAT is tomorrow sigh
