I am getting low low scores on DAT acheiver. Like 12s and 14s on my science sections. I went through all of Destroyer and did well on those questions. I HAVE no idea what so ever why I am getting so low of a score on DAT achiever. Any advice on if I should be worried or not??? How accurate is acheiver???

I was scoring 17/18 on achievers and i got around 20-22 on actual DAT sciences. I don't think a 12-14 is a good sign.. i think at most u'll hit around 16s on the real one. :\

I would suggest taking more time and focusing what's being asked rather than trying to finish in a hurry.

Achiever is much more challenging than your real test. It's normal to get lower scores on Achiever compared to other tests. However, your achiever scores are way too low. If you were in the 17-18 range, I'd say you were gonna be OK! But 12-14 range is just too low. I suggest you invest some more time in studying and reviewing. Perhaps you could try TopScore and see how you score then. I think as long as you're scoring somewhere between 19-21 on TopScore, you'll be fine on the real exam.

I went through destroyer and took the first acheiver. I thought most if not all the topics covered on the achiever chem and orgo were hit in the destroyer. Bio, to my dislike had too much about bacteria and behavior, but its nothing you can't learn.

Maybe you should go over all the concepts in destroyer more diligently especially if your hitting 12-14s on chem and orgo

For me, Achiever's questions are not difficult..they are just rediculously detailed. Like, you might know something about Ionics, but you likely will not get the question right because you don't know 1/4 facts that they list.

A majority of their questions look like this:

I. blah
II. blah blah
III. blah blah blah

a. I and II
b. I ONLY
c. I and III

I think the reason some people do better on top score is simply because each question requires you to know less material. The questions are more straight forward and thus easier. But 12's mean that you have a lot of catching up. I am getting 15/16 in Bio and I'm terrified.

especially those questions about oomycota, myxomycota, etc (wtf) That is a little too detailed. But those I, II, III questions require a lot of knowledge and reasoning.

What's weird is my Bio II class covered that crap..but left out sooo many important things.
