dat admission process

hi,
can anyone please explain to me how the whole admission process to the dental school works? i am confused.. i want to apply for the year aug. 2010, so how do i go about with my proceedings and do you usually take DAT first and den apply to schools of your choice or do you apply to dental schools first? Please help..

Ok, go through the PRE-DENTAL FORUM first, not the DAT forum...read some stuff...the answer you want is a very long one...here are some tips...
Apply early...that would be around June, which is the earliest that you can apply.
Take requirement classes and take DAT...good luck
