This is to clarify the issue once and for all.
Who gives the DAT?
Do internationally trained dentists need to give the DAT?
There has been a lot of fake rumours around and I have gotten no response from the ADA as well.
Need proper guidance.

If by give you mean who administers the test, that would be a Prometric testing center, at least for the US DAT.

On how to sign up for it.

Internationally trained dentists definitely do not have anything to do in terms of administering the DAT.

ill be clear with my question.
i meant to ask if international dentists (like me, already have a degree from india), applying for DDS?DMD in USA need to give the DAT?
or is it like an entrance test for american students prior to NBDE?

that is for international dentists.

International dentists are required to take NBDE part I and part II.
