Hi Everybody,
This is my first post. I have been reading your posts and seeing how great most of you are doing. I hope i can be as good as everyone here. My DAT is on April 19th and just like everyone, i am starting to get very scared, especially because my MATH capabilities are limited and afraid if it will screw things up....................
Any ways, I need help from every one please.I am having so much trouble in the TOP FRONT END section. I just can not picture it. I watched the tutorial videos on DAT destroyer and got some ideas, but i still can not get that section.
DO you guys have any tips/hints.short cuts on how to master this section. Thank youuuuuuu

practice, practice, practice. practice as much as you can. buy Crack DAT if you haven't.

for me on this section, i looked at only one of the given TOP FRONT or END drawings and interpreted what each solid and dotted line meant - forming my own possible image before looking at the answers. 'hey, there's lots of solid lines and no dotted in this TOP drawing. that might mean that there are no hidden structures and no cut out pieces. hmmm, these answers show hidden structures, eliminate these. Now I'll look at the FRONT drawing. is what it's showing me cohesive with my own mental image formed from the TOP drawing?'

i like to think of this section as a lot like geometry. you don't understand anything one day, then the next, you finally see it. keep working!

For Math its just more and more practice from DAT destroyer or Kaplan or whatever math thing you like.

TFE are really simple with practice. You will need CDP and do all 10 tests and it won't be so very difficult. It is the scariest initially, but by the end you realize that the most difficult ones are the Angle Ranking and possibly patterns (shaded ones are TERRIBLE!)
