DAT Ave/Low Scores...?

Should I retake the DAT? What are my chances of getting in to USC or Loma Linda? Which dental schools do you suggest I should apply to with these scores?

My GPA is a 3.89.

I have worked as a TA for developmental and cell biology labs. I was also a lab tech and a research assistant as an undergrad.

During my junior year I was awarded a scholarship from CalTech and did research there as an undergrad.

I have presented 2 different research projects that I did as an undergrad.

I have job shadowed at 3 different dental offices.

AA 17 isn't a good sign no matter where your strengths or weaknesses were. 17 is a 17 and that is below avg. with loma or for many schools. i got a 17 , with high GPA and with all the other goodies and didn't get in. sorry to drop this on you, but you should retake.

If you are interested in those two schools, why don't you call them and ask their opinion? I think it's possible that your high GPA and a lots of ECs may compensate for the few low scores.

i think 16 on gc is gonna harm you. retakeee

retake it. if you went to caltech, you should be able to ace the DAT ez.
