A plant cell is placed into a salt-water mixture (70% salt). What is likely to result if the plant cell’s membrane is permeable to water?

• A. The cell will become turgid.
• B. The cell will undergo plasmolysis.
• C. The cell will degrade.

I know the answer but I want a good explanation about it. BC did not really explain it well.

Well technically it shouldn't matter if it is permeable to water or cause H2O freely moves in and out. The cell wall won't be affect but the cell membrane inside the cell wall and the cell itself will plasmolyze.

Naw dude. Just finished round 1 of 516 questions for destroyer on Bio. Gonna finish the ochem and gen chem tomorrow. Then it'll be review chad and cliffs then I do bootcamp.

I haven't scheduled it lol... but planning on end of July. Goal is finish all Destroyer by tomorrow and then full on Chad and Feralis. Maybe speed through destroyer once more and all practice test from then on.

Curious...how long has it taken you to get through Destroyer? I'm about halfway through chem and o chem and about a third through bio and I've been working on it for like 5 days. I haven't been rushing but I've stopped and made sure to understand everything. I'm hoping to be done in a few days but idk does it get harder as you go?

For me, I started last Saturday? Initially I did 50 ochem/gen chem and 100 bio then reviewed them same day and watched some videos on Bio and Chad. Then redid them all Sunday. Wasn't able to keep up so I just did bio 1 day and ochem/gchem the other day while reviewing ochem/gchem the same day. Up until now I did all bio, will finish all ochem/gchem today, and finished reviewing twice for gchem/ochem for problems 1-200. As for difficulty, it has equal amount of difficulty throughout. Romano spreads questions so it's not like a mountain climb or anything.

Also when you do problems you should also keep a spreadsheet on excel so you can keep track of your answers and see which questions you miss a lot.
