    Hi everybody,

I just joined this forum and I am a 2006 applicant. I am planning to take DAT in March. The thing is app process starts June 1. I was just wandering about the scores; I know you have the option at the end of the exam to send them to schools, but can they get there before the application? Or do I need to wait and take the exam after June1?
    Anybody knows?
    Thanks in advance

I think the schools just keep your scores with them until they receive the rest of the application. The schools immediately start a file with your name after they receive the first piece of application information.

Take the DAT when you feel you are ready.

The better you do the better schools you have a chance of getting into.

So if you wait to take the DAT until even August it's not a problem, since it takes about 6-8 weeks for the AADSAS to verify your GPA and then send out your application. So even if you submit it right away the schools will not begin to review it until two months later.
