For content review and learning of materials I used Bootcamp + Anki. Once I was done with all topics (meaning I'd memorized the 500 page bio academy notes, all ochem reactions and nuances, gen chem problem, and PAT), I started doing practice tests on Booster and made sure to understand every single question and why it was wrong or why I got it right. Then I started the Bootcamp full length tests (SAVE ALL "SUBJECT TESTS" UNTIL THE END, they get recycled in the full-lengths) and did the same thing I was doing with Booster exams. I highly recommend using both resources but buy Booster once you're done with content review on Bootcamp, since it's mainly best for practice exams whereas Bootcamp has practice problems as you go through each chapter in addition to their exams. As far as similarity to the real DAT, I'd say Booster was the most representative for the sciences (I had multiple questions on bio that were nearly identical to questions I'd seen on Booster), but Bootcamp's PAT tests are much more like the real thing. I'm not sure why PAT Booster gets so much praise, to me it felt much easier than the real test as well as than Bootcamp's tests.

Long story short, start with Bootcamp, finish the content, then buy Booster to have more practice exams in addition to Bootcamp's exams.

From my experience DATBooster was better as it helped me get a 26 AA (I got a 19AA last year using Bootcamp). Like the post above, I had very similar questions on my real DAT and in some cases the questions were word for word similar to Booster. If you want to use both, Bootcamp also puts some of their content for free so you could probably get away with just using their free content which is what I did on my 2nd attempt.

I personally really enjoyed DAT Booster's mechanics; such as the PAT and it is more representative for recent exams. However, if you have the funds I would try to get both

I loved DATBooster, It took my DAT recently in September and utilized both DATBooster and DATbootcamp, and in my opinion, DATBooster was the most representative resource I have used. It helped me score well as it provided me with all the information that I needed and it was a great price. If you are worried about the price I would stick with just DATBooster as I believe that it will help you get the best score possible. As some other said before there were a lot of similar questions on my DAT in the science sections, I also believe that the other sections like PAT also prepped me well as they were very representative of the actual exam. Good luck on your DAT!

Hi, what about the videos? The science videos are better on the booster?

The videos were actually pretty good on booster they covered everything and were made by professor Dave on youtube. The questions from almost all the sections were very similar, but biology was extremely similar.

At what point did you start using DAT booster for your second attempt? Because right now I am using the notes from Bootcamp for Biology, gen chem, Orgo, and math from my previous attempt, but I need to practice for PAT and Reading as well. What do you recommend me to do, should I buy DAT Booster after I finish studying all my notes?

I am about to start my DAT prep using DATbosster and DATdestroyer, I will reply with my honest response on how these 2 resources are effective. Thank you for the breakdown and wish me luck.

I used DAT Booster and Destroyer and thought they went perfectly with my studying! The Bio videos on Taxonomy, etc were extremely helpful for my exam. I used Bootcamp on my previous attempt and didnt score as high as I would have liked (18AA) and with Booster and Destroyer, I got a 20 AA and 20 TS

While I haven't experienced Bootcamp, I'd tell anyone to use Booster. I used it as my main resource along with DAT Destroyer. I felt Booster provided me with everything I needed to be able to do well on the DAT

I definitely will recommend Dat bootcamp for the sciences. However I do not recommend it for the PAT or math section. I used math destroyer to supplement DAT bootcamps weak math section. Got a 22AA.
