Hey guys,
I have my DAT in a week and I've been taking the practice exams on DAT Bootcamp and I was curious on how the scores correlate to the actual DAT.
I am missing about 6+ questions on each section and I am still ending with a score of 20+ and it has me worried because I know the real DAT won't be so generous with the scores when I miss that much.
Should I be worried about the amount of questions I miss on the Bootcamp exams or is it a good indicator of the actual DAT scores I will be getting?

Thank for the help.

I think so, my friend just took his and was getting consistent 19s and then took the DAT and got a 22 AA i think your good!

Thanks!
I missed like 12 in RC and were still getting 21 so I was getting a little worried...
My exam is in like 5 days so I am on a freak out mode.

What I read on the DAT bootcamp website is that you can miss around 4 to 6 for a score of 20 on math and science sections, ~10 for RC and ~20 for PAT.
I was getting worried because I am missing way more than that but still getting around 19~20s.

I thought Bootcamp was substantially harder than the real thing. I got a 14 on a gen chem test, took the DAT 3 weeks later and got a 22 in gen chem. I studied a lot those 3 weeks but still the real DAT felt less tricky than Bootcamp to me

Not the DAT.... Not the DAT... We talkin' bout practice! Same thing A.I. said is the same way you should react to those scores on Bootcamp. It aint the real thing its PRACTICE cuz!

BC teaches you the minor details you may not know (like when to use a buret vs a volumetric flask, little details). Learn and move on. Promise you will say damn I wish I had spent more time on QR or PAT over BIO/OC/GC. I know that because I said the same thing!

The bootcamp scores are pretty on point with everything. Don't stress about missing. Brush up on everything you missed because the DAT isn't as straightforward in wording as bootcamp.

They are on point as in compared to how everyone else scores. I'm having to retake but I made 21 21 on gc😳c and prolly averaged around 19 at best for both sections on boot camp.

Thanks guys!
These last few days are really stressing me out and even though I am getting pretty ok scores I just keep getting paranoid when I miss a lot of them.

Don't worry about the amount of what you're missing. My Bootcamp scores were very indicative of my real DAT scores - within a point or two in each section! And it seems like most people agree. If anything, Bootcamp scores seem to give pretty accurate score predictions, even a little on the low side - so you may surprise yourself like I did and do a few points better than what you're getting now! I think the DAT wording and questions were very similar to Bootcamp which was nice. They aren't out to trick you!

my scores were almost the exact same. I was consistently 22-24 on GC, 20-23ish Ochem. I didn't start Bootcamp till i new i was ready for practice tests. A lot of people feel bootcamp is "review/practice" material, i used it more as testing material. If you look yourself in the mirror and think, "i know as much as i'm gonna know" than unfortunately those bootcamp scores might be a bit representative of the real thing, at least it was for me. If your still like a month away from your exam, chances are you still have a lot more to learn.

also, i know for for QR, on bootcamp i missed like 10questions one time and it still gave me a 21. I'm not sure how many i missed on the actual test, but QR was the only section where bootcamp gave me consistently higher scores than my actual test. It was, however, the same difficulty, so i can assume i missed about the same # of questions.
