Hey Guys,

I am looking for some help from someone who used DAT Bootcamp.

I am studying for the DAT (which I take next month) and I am using DAT Bootcamp. I am wondering how well the practice questions correlate to the actual DAT. I mean this in terms of difficulty, detail and how well the scores we receive correlate.
I am concerned that maybe I am not measuring my needs correctly using DAT Bootcamp (and coursesaver) alone.

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

For me, it was very very similar to the real dat as far as the questions go. While I was taking the real thing, I remember thinking how grateful I was to have used Bootcamp to prepare me. As far as the scores go, I think people tend to score maybe a point or two higher on the real dat than the practice tests. That was my experience anyways.

Haven't taken or studied for the DAT yet, but... from what friends have said.....

Everyone said that bootcamp is near the same difficulty as the DAT; however, there is always one section that is harder. The section changes based on who's told me this. This is why they say DAT Destroyer and Math Destroyer are so essential to revising for the DAT.

Thanks man that helps. Did they say anything about the PAT as well?

I used DAT Bootcamp and DAT Destroyer together. I think the practice test from Bootcamp are pretty similar to those on the real DAT and I ended up scoring better on the real DAT compared to the practice test. Definitely used the PAT section a lot in preparation for the DAT

Based on my experience, the reading comprehension and perceptual ability were very similar to bootcamp. The sciences were very similar to destroyer.

Bootcamp was very comparable to the real DAT for me in all sections. I did those test countless amount of times and would always get questions wrong. I ended up doing significantly better on the real test than I ever did on bootcamp or Crack the DAT.

I think Bootcamp is easier. I got a low 20 on my AA overall but on BC I was getting 24+s

It all depends on which DAT exam you get, but try to use different resources to expand your learning material. DAT Bootcamp is great for PAT and Bio.

Comparing actual DAT to Bootcamp:
PAT was the same as bootcamp, except for keyholes! (they were much harder on the real one)
RC was much easier on the real DAT
the real OC, GC, BIO, and QR were the same difficulty as bootcamp

I asked one of my friends who just got into NYU this year. He said PAT was about the same. Bootcamp was he only resource for PAT if that makes a difference.
