I just wanted to post my breakdown because I saw so many before I took it with crazy high scores that made me anxious to take my test. I did all the normal things, Bootcamp, Destroyer, Kaplan book, I even added DAT Genius because I had done all the other problems and wanted to test my knowledge with new questions instead of memorizing the answers to the others. I studied during Fall term doing something every night for at minimum and hour then as soon as my finals were over I studied everyday for about 8 hours a day and took the three weeks before my test off work.
Actual Scores:
PA:21
QR:18
RC:21
BIO:23
GC:18
OC:23
TS:21
AA:21
This was my second time taking it because the first time I ran out of time on QR (from freaking out) and got a 14 in just that section. I ran out of time again but this time I skipped all the questions I knew I couldn't do really quick then went back and did the longer ones. I was surprised by my lower GC score but it was SO much harder than any of the practice tests I took on bootcamp and even Genius all the others seemed to be easier minus keyholes on PA. I didn't really practice RC or PA as much and regret it but my score isn't too terrible. Now the only issue I have is my poor GPA due to not taking college seriously my first 2 years which was also before I knew I wanted to be a dentist. I explained it in my personal statement and if you take out those two year my GPA is 3.7 so hopefully they overlook it.
My biggest advise is SLEEP the first time I was so nervous I didn't sleep for 3 days the second time a took something to help me sleep and did way better. Also be confident in how much you studied its not as scary as it seems.
