I took my DAT yesterday and went home and crashed. Sooooo tired. I am a junior and going into my senior year. I plan on applying this cycle and hopefully start when I graduate in May. Should I take a year off? GPA oGPA:3.3, sGPA 3.8. I'm a music major and I suck at it. I just realized this. Science is what is keeping my GPA above a 3.0

Taking a year off is entirely a function of where you are at and how you feel about hitting 4 years of intense studies.

The scores are excellent! And if you can do it, cycle-up and go for next year!

I'm not sure if anyone is going to believe your scores. You just created your account, scored a 28 (when 27 was the highest score last year), and are a music major, in which your sGPA = 3.8 while your music GPA ~ sub 3.0.

Anyway, in all seriousness I would retake with that 25 in Bio, you'll need at least a 27 Bio to compete with today's applicants (I understand why you're upset with it).

Lol! That's true, but trust me they're there just not many of them. My friend scored a 27TS and 26AA last year. I believe each dental school has a max of 2 people (out of the whole class) with crazy high DAT scores. I was visiting UOP last year and they told us how they have a guy that is a freshman with a 26 and that was like unheard of.
